Nathaniel S. Greene, 78, of St. Paul, formerly of Duluth, passed away Sunday, May 10, 1998, in Shalom Nursing Home, St. Paul.

He had been a resident of Duluth for 74 years before moving to St. Paul in 1994.

Nathaniel was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor, in 1979.

He is survived by a son, Stanley (Doris) Greene of Greenville, S.C.; a daughter, Judy (James) Kongevick of Burnsville, Minn.; and grandchildren, Jason and Michael Greene and Michael Kongevick.

Private family graveside service: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Shaara Tzedek Cemetery. Arrangements by Johnson Mortuary.
